Sun Siyam Olhuveli has announced a series of strategic leadership appointments aimed at supporting the resort’s continued growth, operational excellence, and enhancement of guest experiences. The leadership changes include the promotion of Hassan Mihaadh to Director of Rooms, alongside the appointments of Susi Suniarti as Spa Manager and Suman Saurabh as Events and Entertainment Manager.
Hassan Mihaadh, a respected Maldivian hospitality professional, has been promoted from his previous role as Executive Housekeeper. With over 21 years of experience in the industry, including more than a decade in senior leadership roles, Hassan brings extensive knowledge of the Rooms Division, shaped by both local insight and international exposure. His career spans established hospitality brands such as Banyan Tree, Angsana, Jumeirah International and Marriott International, with professional experience across the Maldives, the Middle East, Macau, and Southeast Asia. Since joining Sun Siyam Olhuveli in 2023, he has contributed to improving operational consistency and service delivery and now oversees one of the largest room inventories in the Maldives.
Susi Suniarti joins the leadership team as Spa Manager, bringing more than 20 years of experience in spa and wellness operations across the Maldives and Indonesia. A CIDESCO-certified professional, Susi has held senior positions with Mandara Spa Maldives, Cinnamon Velifushi, Radisson Hotels, Swissôtel by Accor and Sheraton Hotels, as well as experience with Hatch Fitness Centre in Asia. She will lead the spa and wellness division, focusing on team development, long-term performance, and delivering elevated wellness experiences.
Suman Saurabh has been appointed as Events and Entertainment Manager, responsible for overseeing events, entertainment and recreation programming across the resort. With over a decade of experience in luxury hospitality, including roles with InterContinental Maldives, Six Senses Vietnam, Anantara Kihavah, Kurumba Maldives, Hilton, Le Méridien, and Taj Hotels, Suman brings a combination of creativity and operational expertise to his role. His focus will be on curating engaging, lifestyle-led experiences that align with modern guest expectations.
