
Grand Park Kodhipparu, Maldives has announced the appointment of Rai Viany Pande as Director of Sales, strengthening the resort’s commercial leadership as it continues to refine its global sales strategy.
Rai brings over 17 years of experience in luxury hospitality, with a career spanning the Maldives, Bali, and other parts of Asia. Her previous roles include positions with internationally recognised brands such as Hyatt and Hard Rock Hotels. She is well regarded within the Maldives tourism industry for her market knowledge, established trade relationships, and practical leadership in commercial operations.
Throughout her career, Rai has held senior commercial roles at a number of prominent resorts, including Baros Maldives, Radisson Blu Resort Maldives, Noku Maldives, Ayada Maldives, LUX South Ari Atoll, Kanuhura Maldives, and most recently NH Maldives Kuda Rah under the Minor Hotels Group. In these roles, she contributed to commercial performance and fostered sustainable partnerships with tour operators, destination management companies, and travel advisors across key global markets.
Rai is known for her collaborative approach and extensive professional network. Her experience across multiple international markets, combined with extensive travel throughout Asia, provides her with insights into both emerging and established source markets.
In her new role, Rai will oversee the global sales efforts of Grand Park Kodhipparu Maldives, working closely with trade partners to strengthen the resort’s position within the luxury island resort segment. She will also represent the resort at major international trade events, including Arabian Travel Market (ATM), ITB Shanghai, and other industry forums throughout the year.
