
One&Only Reethi Rah has promoted Mohamed Ayaaz to the role of Assistant Director of Food and Beverage, as part of its ongoing focus on internal talent development.
Ayaaz previously served as Food and Beverage Manager, where he was responsible for overseeing daily operations and supporting service delivery across the resort’s dining outlets. During this time, he contributed to the coordination of seasonal events and collaborations, as well as maintaining operational standards reflected in external assessments such as LQA and Forbes Travel Guide audits.
He brings close to 20 years of experience in the Maldivian hospitality sector. His earlier tenure at One&Only Reethi Rah spanned from 2013 to 2021, followed by a period at Patina Maldives between 2021 and 2023, where he was involved in food and beverage operations.
In his new role, Ayaaz will support Michal Zemlicka, Executive Assistant Manager for Food and Beverage, in overseeing the resort’s dining operations, including its restaurants and bars.
The appointment reflects a broader approach within the organisation to promote experienced staff into senior operational roles.
