The event at Hard Rock Cafe Maldives served as a platform for future leaders in tourism to engage in meaningful discussions about the vital role of sustainability in the industry. Students, partners, and industry experts explored innovative ways to promote responsible tourism, highlighting how it can bolster the Maldives’ nature based assets responsibly. In alignment with Hard Rock International’s “Save the Planet” ethos, the gathering reinforced the commitment to nurturing a new generation of tourism professionals dedicated to sustainable practices.
SAii Lagoon Maldives, Curio Collection by Hilton, also played a pivotal role in the celebrations by sponsoring and actively participating in the World Tourism Day Clean-up Campaign. This initiative, organized in partnership with Ghiyasuddin International School, gathered volunteers for a large-scale cleanup in Hulhumalé, exemplifying CROSSROADS Maldives’ commitment to environmental stewardship and community engagement.
