Rashu Expo 2025 is proud to announce its partnership with Visit Maldives to launch the Domestic Tourism Pavilion, a key highlight of the expo. This dedicated space will bring together guesthouses, hotels, and resorts, providing them with a unique platform to engage with the local market. The expo will run for three days, from 13th to 15th February 2025, at Hulhumale’ Central Park.
Driving Domestic Tourism and Filling Low Season Beds
A significant focus of the Domestic Tourism Pavilion is to support properties in filling their beds during the low season and contributing to the Maldives’ vision of becoming an all-year-round travel destination. By targeting both the local population and the thousands of expats residing in the Greater Malé region, properties can offer affordable travel packages and unique experiences to these key audiences.
Key Opportunities for the Hospitality Industry
The Domestic Tourism Pavilion offers a range of benefits for participants, including:
- Purchasing a Booth: Properties can secure a booth to showcase their services, accommodations, and exclusive packages.
- Targeting Expats and Locals: Tap into the expat community in the Greater Malé region, along with local travelers, to expand market reach.
- Highlighting Low Season Promotions: Promote attractive deals designed to fill rooms during the off-peak season.
- Showcasing Unique Offerings: Demonstrate the distinctive features and experiences that set your property apart.
In collaboration with Visit Maldives, Rashu Expo 2025 aims to redefine the domestic tourism landscape by encouraging locals and expats to explore the Maldives and enjoy its diverse hospitality offerings.
“The Domestic Tourism Pavilion at Rashu Expo 2025 is a critical step in supporting the Maldives as a year-round destination,” said Fraath Mohamed, Managing Director, The Travel Guys. “By working together with Visit Maldives, we aim to create opportunities for properties to thrive during the low season and to inspire travelers to discover the hidden gems of our islands.”
