With over eight years of experience in the hospitality industry, Coumba has held strategic leadership roles at both Cluster and Country levels with renowned hospitality brands across Morocco, Cabo Verde, Qatar, and Seychelles. Her expertise spans strategic marketing, public relations, and digital communication, with a strong focus on brand positioning and market engagement. Fluent in five languages, her international perspective will support the resort’s strategic efforts to drive brand visibility and create engaging guests experiences in key global markets.
In her new role, Coumba will oversee all marketing and communication strategies for Le Méridien Maldives Resort & Spa. Her primary focus will be enhancing the brand’s visibility through both traditional and digital media. She will play a pivotal role in showcasing the resort’s unique offerings, from its vibrant culinary experiences and elegant overwater villas to its sustainability initiatives and curated guest experiences that embody the timeless beauty of the Maldives.
