One of the world’s fastest-growing sports has arrived at Kandooma Maldives, with the resort unveiling a new pickleball court and inviting holidaymakers to get in on the action. The latest addition to the island’s recreational offering taps into the global popularity of the paddle sport, bringing a fresh dose of friendly competition and family fun to the tropical getaway.
Combining elements of tennis, badminton and table tennis, pickleball is easy to learn, quick to play and suitable for all ages and abilities. Whether it’s a family showdown, a friendly doubles match or a first attempt at mastering the game, guests can now add pickleball to their island holiday itinerary.
The new court is open daily from 6 am to 6 pm, with paddles and balls available to borrow from Reception.
Court bookings can be arranged through the Recreation or Front Office team, with each villa able to reserve up to one hour of play per day on a complimentary basis.
The introduction of pickleball adds another dimension to Kandooma’s active island experience, giving guests even more ways to connect and create holiday memories together.
